Caleb Sponheim

Caleb Sponheim is a Senior Experience Specialist at Nielsen Norman Group, where he develops training and conducts research on AI, quantitative methods, and emerging technologies. His courses on AI applications in UX are among NN/g's highest-enrolled offerings, and he has been cited as an expert on AI in Axios, Futurism, and CNET.

Before UX, Caleb was a computational neuroscientist at the University of Chicago, where he built brain-machine interfaces to help restore movement in patients with spinal cord injuries. He has also conducted human factors research at NASA and the National Institutes of Health. He holds a Ph.D. in Computational Neuroscience from the University of Chicago.

Caleb is based in Durham, North Carolina, in the United States.
